Carmel O'Reardon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas. She graduated in 1996 with a BS in Psychology from the University of Houston and a Master Degree in 1999 from the University of Houston Graduate School of Social Work
She works with children, young adults, individuals and families using an eclectic approach to the unique needs of each client. She has over 19 years of experience in a variety of settings with a diverse set of clients, including both long term and
brief interventions.
Carmel's areas of expertise include: Play therapy for children with emotional problems, therapy for children and adolescents with behavioral and mental health issues within the foster care system, family therapy, group therapy, and therapy for adults within the community with mental health issues and substance abuse issues.
She works to help families and individuals work through the transitions that happen in their lives and uses his evidenced based training in Cognitive Behavioral Trauma Focused Therapy when working with those who have experienced trauma in their lives.
Denny Fahey is a Licensed Professional Counselor currently in private practice and contract with Deblin Health Concepts to provide individual therapy to clients who suffer from such problems as Depression, PTSD, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Addictions, and Schizophrenia.
With an MA in Clinical Psychology from Sam Houston State University, he uses an eclectic approach, but has a cognitive and behavioral background that influences his therapeutic philosophy.
As a practicing counselor for the past 25 years, Denny has worked in a variety of settings and with a varied population including work in prisons, schools, hospitals, and partial hospitals, in addition to the private practice he currently has.
He has also worked in both individual and group settings and has spent nearly 15 years as an adjunct professor teaching undergraduate psychology courses such as Abnormal Psychology, Theories of Personality, Social and Applied Social Psychology, Counseling Theories, Research Methods, Learning Theory, Developmental Psychology, and Introduction to Psychology for Sam Houston State.
Before becoming a Counselor, Denny worked in a variety of fields, including restaurants, construction, videograpy, office administration, retail, and management. He is a Vietnam-era Veteran with an Honorable Discharge and he tries to bring all of these experiences to the table when working in the field that is truly his calling.
Bobbin Joseph, LCSW, is a Clinical Social Worker practicing in the state of Texas for the past several years.
He is an extensive expert in psychotherapy, counseling and has over 15 years of experience in various social work fields.
He received his bachelor’s degree in English literature from Mahatma Gandhi University and his master’s degree in social work from the University of Madras. After studies, he has served in various facilities in India and later in Houston. He has worked with children, adults, couples, and families throughout the years of practice and has dealt with a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting, grief, loss, cultural conflicts, existential issues, mental health, chronic illnesses, among other concerns.
He believes in helping people to help themselves to bring out the best in them. He is an active member of National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and Texas Association of Indian Social Workers (TAISW).
Eduardo Vargas, LCSW, is a bilingual, bicultural therapist specializing in the delivery of mental health services to migrant populations who have traumatic experiences before, during, or after their journey.
Eduardo’s experience includes providing counseling and case management at an outpatient methadone clinic in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood, providing therapy to unaccompanied minors at federal detention facilities, leading a team of social workers in an infectious disease hospital setting and providing medical social work services for home health and hospice clients.
Eduardo’s academic background includes bachelor degrees in social work and bible, religion & philosophy from Goshen College (Goshen, IN) and a masters degree in social work from Loyola University Chicago (Chicago, IL).
Suzanne Shero has worked in the mental health field for over 25 years . She earned her degree from the university of Hawaii and moved to Austin in 1991. Here she continued to work in the healing arts.
Suzanne is a Licensed Professional Counselor and LPC-Supervisor and has gained valuable experience working in Travis county's mental health crises stabilization unit. She has led support groups and understands the complex issues involved in reaching wellness and managing the challenges of persistent symptoms.
She joined the Deblin team in 2015 and looks forward to her weekly meetings with a wide variety of folks each working toward a better tomorrow. She also has a private practice and works with animals and understands the support, joy, and special bond they can bring to our lives.
Copocene Laymon was born and grew up in Amarillo, Texas. She graduated from Texas Southern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1993 and later completed her Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling in 1996 also at Texas Southern University. With her love for people, she furthered her education at Prairie View A & M University by taking additional courses in Marriage & Family Therapy through Prairie View A&M University. She is a Certified Anger Resolution Therapist
Copocene is the proud mother of 2 sons ages 23 and 9. Her 19 years of experience includes treatment of adolescents and adults with mental health, co-morbid SA and legal issues. Her focus is multi-cultured where all cultures are welcome. Her treatment modality is eclectic where treatment is personalized according to each person’s need.
Zsa Zsa Jenkins holds B.A. in Sociology from Denver University, Denver, Colorado, and is a Master’s Degree Social Worker with strong assessment, case management & counseling skills. She earned her Masters Degree from Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA. She is experienced in individual, group and marriage / family therapy and crisis intervention .
